On a more difficult scale questions is there a way to change the icon of the cd-rom/dvd/cdrw and hopefully xp will not change it back to the default?

Hi,

What i like to do is change the name to DVD Drive (D:) , CD-RW Drive (E:)

instead of the default name

CD Drive (D:), CD Drive (E:)

so i know which is which.

Does anyone every plug headphone on the headphone jack in front of a DVD or CDRW ?

I tried that today to listen to a music cd with a headphone but there is no sound even I have turn the volume...
