*** Cd, Dvd Headphone Jack Problem In Winxp

Does anyone every plug headphone on the headphone jack in front of a DVD or CDRW ?

I tried that today to listen to a music cd with a headphone but there is no sound even I have turn the volume control on the front panel to the max.

Please advice. Thanks.

Faulty connector perhaps , It should work with plain audio cd's , not sure about DVD's or mp3 cd's. Try plugging your speakers in there and see what you get.

It is just plain audio cd (not mp3). I have also try plugging the speaker to the headphone outlet but no sound.

Ok , same result here , using media player , will experiment further
