RDRAMs should perform better than DDRRAM.
The reason why people still use DDRRAM more than RDRAM is, I think because, it is far more expensive than the more performance we can get.

Not to mention that RD has a very nice "royalty" attached to it which makes it more expensive. DDR does not, the technology is free and open which tends to keep it more within our budgets.
Thax for dropping at my post, ppl. But there's also PC1066 and how come DDR333 or 400 or 433 be only a little bit slow or less performing? Is there something wrong with Rambus's technology?

in others, RAM Bus has got the monopoly in RDRAM technology and DDRRAM and SDRRAM makers have got the competitiveness which brings the price down...
Oh, that's not good. It might be costly if you try to upgrade your RAM
Can anyone tell me why you have to install two RAMs of same type, instead of one?
