Cactus is an unknown quantity at this point
The "Welcome screen" only works when your computer has NOT been added to a domain.
As soon als you'll make your XP box a member of any NT domain (NT4/W2K/.NET) you loose the welcome screen and the "Fast User Switching"will be disabled.

I've searched for it all over the net and there doesn't seem a fix/hack for this. Just remove the box from the domain again, and keep the usernames and passwords on the domain the same as on the XP box. This way people can logon to the XP Box and everthing will work on the domain also.

Hopes this helps,

Cheers!
