Ok guys this has been going on for some time now. My system crashes to a bsod randomly when Im on the internet and Ive never been able to figure it out. I can go for weeks with out one then I get a couple or three in a row. This is only when I'm on the net. I have upgraded awhile ago to sp2 but it was still doing it with sp1. Any thoughts on this?

If you are not on the net, do you turn off your connection ?
And did you see a message when your PC is turning off ?

What the PSU is doing if the problem is only when he's connected to the net ?

The virus I recently had shutdown my system and made it restart. If you have not ran F-Protect, I'd try that. My system has AVG, NAV, and F-Protect on it. Only F-Protect cought it. I just recently added Avast to my anti-virus fleet.

Scanned my system today for virus and spyware. Nothing. I'll do a few more tests with software to try and pin point it

Very strange. Defect modem, router, hardware in general etc. ?
Bad processor, bad memory, bad motherboard etc.
I would go to minimal conifg and see what happens.
That is only the motherboard, the processor, the least amount of ram you can (meaning one stick only), 1 hard disk and the grahpics card.
Then see what happens.
And yeap try switching out PSU as well.
Still same damn problem? Reflash your BIOS with an older one or a newer one if your not up to date.
Thats all I can think of atm. Still tired from working 14 hours yesterday.

This is the error as seen in the event viewer.
The PfModNT service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.
