OK, just setup new Mb, Proc, Ram, etc....Curious as to which would be a better setup, for the RAM...

1. Running 512 single stick @ 333

or

2. Running 1gB dual channel @ 266

Both seem to work fine, just wondering...TIA

great answer...

PCDAD have a similar setup xcept using da Mobile Barton XP 2500+ K7N2 Delta.
oc'd a bit 12.5 x 200 fsb, 256*2 using 3200 green Mushkin dual channel @1.625v. That's still below ur desktop barton's default vcore.
ya gotta love those oem laptoppers, unlocked and happy to run above specs.

Go with the 512mb at 333 unless you need another 512mb for some reason.

Yup...shoulda done my homework b4 ordering... got a locked one

Doesn't really matter now...cooked the ram anyway playing around with voltage, etc...running the single 512 pc2100 now 'till I get a replacement <_<

you could always ebay or sell/trade ur 333mhz barton for a 266 mobile... da egg has em for 90 bucks...
