I was downloading a short avi film and it got to about 98% done and i lot my internet connection and the download failed, now i can't find where i was downloading it from. It was a torrent file so i still have the avi. but the avi wont play because its not the full file. anyone know of a way to watch avi files that aren't complete? like preview them or something? thanks for any help

AVI-Preview is good for previewing incomplete files but it will often stop playing when it reaches non-contigious blocks. Using DivFix might be a better option - it will analyze the partial AVI file, remove non-availible parts, and generate a fixed AVI file which should play in any software.

hmmm interesting thanks for the reply zone, i'll try DivFix. b/c the movie did end a lot sooner then i thought it would.

Hay Bro i have had the same problem before and i installed K-Lite Codec Pack 2.50 and then played it with Power DVD 5 try that and c if it helps if u want to know where to get it let us know/........
