Yes those articles solved some my misunderstandings and changed the impression I had to both Internet Explorer and Netscape. Guess that happened to you guys?

Yes, and you can still get Mosaic for free

"If you're looking for a browser with great support of the latest W3C standards, try out Mozilla which is the basis for Netscape 6.x. And no, IE 6.x does not handle fixed positioning so the floating nav-menu and preview pane won't function as intended.
