Yes those articles solved some my misunderstandings and changed the impression I had to both Internet Explorer and Netscape. Guess that happened to you guys?

"If you're looking for a browser with great support of the latest W3C standards, try out Mozilla which is the basis for Netscape 6.x. And no, IE 6.x does not handle fixed positioning so the floating nav-menu and preview pane won't function as intended.

If you are visiting this site with an aborration such as Netscape 4.x (or lower) or IE 5.x (or lower), you should really consider entering the current millenium and upgrading to a newer version or a better browser.

You can check out just how bad they are yourself: http://www.digressed.net/browsers"
