You should also always back up your Outlook.pst file, so you can re-import your info in case of a crash or format.
There is a program that integrates into Outlook and allows you to get a backup made automatically every day, week, month, or whatever..It will also save it to an external drive of file folder, so your backup is always backed up somewhere else...
