You understood exactly what I needed.
I also tried
http://192.168.0.2/phpMyAdmin-2.5.7-pl1/ and I was able to backup the database successfully. However I had trouble restoring it to an empty database with the same name. So...
I installed MySQL and Apache. Configured PHP.
Copied the \forums\ folder to DocumentRoot.
Created a database with the same name (uwaforum).
Replaced the database folder in Laptop\mysql\bin\Data\uwaforum by the folder in Desktop\mysql\bin\Data\uwaforum
Everything worked fine.
