- Insert the Windows 2000/XP CD in the CD-ROM drive.
- Open the \Support\Tools\
- Use WinRAR/WinZIP extract the Deploy.cab file to a desired folder in your Hard Disk.
- Double-click on Setupmgr.exe. The Welcome to the Windows Setup Manager Wizard opens.
- Follow the prompts.
- Save the file as Winnt.sif
- Create a Windows 2000/XP ISO from UltraISO
- Open the ISO and add the Winnt.sif file to \I386 folder
- Save the ISO
- Burn the ISO to CD
It should work.
I just asked this in advance, because I am actually thinking of doing this once XP SP2 is officially released. (slipstream XP SP2 and do this).
