I had a Palm too and it did the same thing. If I took the batteries out to change them, I lost everything and had to update from the backup on my pc. What a pain. If yer batteries run out while u were on the road, ya had to wait till i got home to update the database. Had to always start off from scratch. Not sure what went wrong with it as I bought a dell Pocket PC. ...griz
