alrighty, I got a local domain ("i2techs.local") I got it all done when I first installed my server and everything, now I want to have an "internet" domain, oh i'm going big time now! how do you setup the microsoft dns program, to do the local and internet domains, and how do you setup active directory to support it, or do I need to do that? I can't get it once I type all my information in to go to my domain name, yes I have my NS IP with netsol pointing to my IP for my router, and yes it is fowarding it to my computer, I just can't type in "www.i2techs.com" and it work. Can someone help me or show me a tutorial on what I need to do from here?

Thanks,
~PCTech

Don't use the DNS thing by Microsoft. Use ZoneEdit. With ZoneEdit, you can have up to 5 free domain DNS entries, and it's very easy to set up. Once you set up the DNS, it should direct the domain to your IP address.

ZoneEdit's website is
http://www.zoneedit.com

And to the mods, THIS POST is NOT an advertisement for Zone Edit, nor am I in any way affiliated. I am just a satisfied customer.
