I recently got updates from MS and downloaded the newest version of Media Player. It seems to be full of bloat and kept trying to call out when playing a song off my HD. I assume to match the file I was playing and give me a link to the artist site or maybe to just record everything I play. It even put hidden album art in my Music folder. There is no hotfix/install number so I couldn't use the add/remove programs to remove it. I'm happy that off all the times I wanted the System Restore to work correctly, this time it did.
