I'm just hoping that longhorn 4015 works with office 2003 beta 2!

Hmm..that's a good wish. but i dont that would be possible for Microsoft in the near future.
we can't always blame the operating system for a BSOD. there can be number of other reasons like incompatible device driver installations, incompatible driver installations or software installations. another strange hard-to-believe reason is dust! it can cause the computer to cause a BSOD and i donno how to explain it.

so my wish will be like this:
when multiple users are logged on and one user is using the computer while others users' programs are running in the back ground, imagine a BSOD comes to the current user. the computer needs a restart. the current user will remember (slightly) what programs s/he was running but what about the other users? they may have completely forgotten! so when the computer restarts, i wish the operating system should present a report when each user is logged back again, of what programs each user was running before the last BSOD.

something like this?

Quote:
Windows was able to list the programs you were last running before the it shut down accidently:
-- Microsoft Word 2002
? c:\documents and settings\mcored\my documents\longhorn_guide.doc
-- Internet Explorer - (3 Windows)
? http://www.robinswebsite.net/forums/index.php
? http://board.iexbeta.com/ibf10/index.php
then no one needs to worry: "shit. what i was bein doing?".
