I have long been an admirer of Norton 2003 Firewall because of its siplicity and reliablity. Lately I installed McAfee Personal Firewall Plus 5.0.xx. Really the same in terms of simplicity, but better in terms of easily accessible infor about blocks the software makes.
I agree Sygate and TPF are fantastic, but somehow the overabundance of info is difficult to digest. McAfee and Norton seem to relieve overextended people of too much analysis.
Still interested in trying NIS 2005 when it is possible, but for now, me thinks McAfee PF Plus is pretty darn good.
