I've discovered a way get the latest security patches for Windows 2003 without using Windows Update:

Get the Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec...s/mbsahome.asp
Then tick "Check for security updates" and untick the rest.

If there are any missing patches just hit the "Result details" link and manually download the patch(es).
