Theese days several versions of Windows are installed in parallell at the family main computer...
The computer is the "main" one as it's the central part of the LAN where stuff is saved and backed up. The "original" XP lives together with an wild and experimental XP and there also is a Windows 2003 ee eval version there. The "original" XP has been installed since autumn 2001 and now it's time to reinstall I think.
Here is the problem:
I want all the shares in original XP to be the same in the other OS's. I have been looking for an old tip written on paper I had somewhere but of course I have lost track of it. It was about saving a certain registry key and then import it into the new registry. I don't recall which one, neither the commands.
Please enlighten me, and forgive me for beeing this lazy but my family shouts when they can't reach their backup-dirs, databases and so on.
regards,
