Intel sues again over Intel name
Intellicide

YOU'D HAVE thought that chip giant Intel would already have enough on its plate following the AMD antitrust suit which must have ensured dozens if not hundreds of lawyers have nice new briefs.

But no. After a brief hiatus, it has started its relentless effort to protect the Intel name from infringements.

It filed an "840" trademark infringement act against a firm called Ecointel Treasury Systems, presumably because the magic letters i, n, t, e, and l are in there. The case was filed in a Florida, Fort Lauderdale court last week.
