I can't see the hidden files ???

you wouldnt be able to do anything with the file if it is in use by another program.. if no other programs are opened that might be using it, you may still get that message if the view setting is set to preview.  what you can also do is get to dos and use the attrib command to change the attributed. Just my input.. g/luck
