Yeah I'd have to agree, Xandros kicks major butt. Lycoris is also nice and so is Lindows regardless of what you might hear.

Interesting to read this thread. I've tried all the distros mentioned except Xandros. So far I like Mandrake 9.0 the best, but before making a final decision may put Suse back on. Lycoris and Lindows are really nice for a newbie like me, but thought I'd stick to more traditional distros. I'm still struggling to get the windows shares to work using Samba.

Yeah, I've since migrated to Xandros from Lindows, Much better in my opinion.

Good for you devilotx. My sentiments exactly. Xandros works. Works good on the Microsoft LAN. Good way to ween us old time windows guys away, eh?
