Cactus is an unknown quantity at this point
My advise: Stick to IDE

If have quite some (bad) experience with SCSI CDWriters, and since the writer will be the bottleneck the perfomance influence IDE has onyour system isn't important.

Cheers,

Le Cactus

I completely disagree with Le Cactus.

SCSI is ALWAYS preferrable to IDE, if you are willing to pay extra.
I take it 100% of the time over IDE for any component.
