WiMAX experiment starts on Galapagos Islands
Solar powered?

THE ISLANDS THAT gave Darwin some notions about evolution are also the subject of a WiMAX experiment sponsored by Intel, I have good reason to believe.

Intel is putting serious money installing hardware and software that will link the variegated islands together for boffins and boffinettes to share their data with each other.

Intel is a scientific company and emotions don't rage there, except, of course, in their periodic reviews where bosses and employees can rant away at each other until the cows come home.

I don't know if the experiments are solar powered or not yet, because my guy in Graphzilla's parking lot hasn't started talking in his sleep yet. But, as long time readers know, I can be very persuasive.
