for home use, i think XP is very good.. for younger people, the new interface is amazing, easy to read, clearer, and much more user friendly.. if you want to get advanced, and talk about networking etc, and hackers, and problems occuring when you have admin, then yes, there are some flaws, these can be easily cured though, because XP has many features that ONLY the admin can change , like resticting access..
also by visiting windows update, stops most major flaws through IE6 etc, and the internet.
i have had no errors with XP, and am very happy with it, and i still agree that microsoft are making a big mistake by bringing out longhorn and blackcomb too early!
