You are correct.

This is in alpha testing so I doub't you will see a "true" build any time "soon" .

As soon as someone gets their little dirty hands on it you can bet that it will be all over the net in a few hours.

Take Care,
Will

Well there are some early pics form the first alpha. Also longhorn will be the best operation system when it comes out (that is what they said @ microsoft) but when it's going to be like XP it's going to be nothing.

Greetz,

How true.. but I thought that the best version would have to be blackcomb? Im not sure though.. Many of the romoured pics are fakes although im not sure about these... But really in my opinion the best operating system would have to be an A.I. os that could converse with you rather than cause you trouble with errors and bluescreens..

well i'm happy with XP, nothing wrong with it so far.. they are bringing out blackcomb and longhorn too early i think, because i want XP around for the next 5 -6 years... its perfect,. and i think alot of people will agree.
i cant wait for
windows media center edition, with the remote and everything else!! that will be amazing..

for home use, i think XP is very good.. for younger people, the new interface is amazing, easy to read, clearer, and much more user friendly.. if you want to get advanced, and talk about networking etc, and hackers, and problems occuring when you have admin, then yes, there are some flaws, these can be easily cured though, because XP has many features that ONLY the admin can change , like resticting access..
also by visiting windows update, stops most major flaws through IE6 etc, and the internet.
i have had no errors with XP, and am very happy with it, and i still agree that microsoft are making a big mistake by bringing out longhorn and blackcomb too early!
