I used Winamp 3 for a while, and in terms of speed it was awful.

I'll be staying put with the lovely Winamp 2 for a while...

I've been using Winamp 3 still locks up. When you change something, it disappears. I like it a lot and use it, but it's irritating as hell when it quits in the middle of a song. Winamp 2 works. No problem.

I have used Winamp3 for quite a while, was not an aalphsa use, but switched when it became beta... can't do without it now!

Winamp 3's plain nasty in my opinion
it provides no advantage over Winamp2 and its slow as ever.

agreed (with 3 out of 4). winamp classic (v2.x) is still the way to go if you want total reliabilty, stability and performance.

WinAMP is getting better
