whenever you change a Motherboard, you should ALWAYS reinstall.
There is always someone who has made this or that "work", but it is not right and will always give you trouble in the future.
The registry is a very complicated file, and when you change around alot of stuff that wasn't designed into the operating system to change normaly, it ruins this file, and leaves errors and omitions in it until you have a mess.
It doesn't take all that long to just reinstall after backing up all your needed files and settings, No more than 2 hours tops, to setup XP completely, even with updates etc.
Just do it right the first time and SAVE time and energy fighting a messed up system.
