If its a monitor issue, try disabling any integrated graphics adapters, or take out any added video cards. Could also be bad memory. Perhaps a cable got knocked loose somewhere as someone else...

ZoneAlarm Security Suite 6.0 is the best in my opinion, unless ur running WindowsOneCare w/Windows Antispyware. Those are the 2 best security solutions I can think of.

This is why I won't even attempt to try Vista til Beta 2 or beyond. WAY too many bugs and hassles. I like to configure things, but no way I'm wasting my time on betas that don't even work properly.
