Is there a way to display wallpaper in WinXP Pro with Windows Classic folders/desktop/start menu???

I dual-boot and I'd like to display a labeled desktop so I can tell whether I'm logged on as Administrator or User...

you should be able to set wallpaper just like you normally do no matter what visual style or lack thereof you're using

OK; the boyz at IEXBeta steered me to my problem/solution...

I have TweakUI installed on that account, and on the "IE" tab of TweakUI there's a box labeled "Shell Enhancements"...I had unchecked it...

...Re-checking it restored the "Desktop" tab to Display properties, which lets me add a background image to the desktop...

Don't know why MS had this option added to TweakUI...So you could hide the naked pictures of your wife???... :blink:
