Actually the first true 64 bit CPU was Alpha, not AMD or Intel.

@ ~*McoreD*~ .That does raise a good questionand are they both 64 bit? The reason I put it that way is AMD and Intel both use different methods of rating their procerros speeds, so if they use different methods there then are they using the same methods now for this.

Now is when we need someone to come in here and lay it ll out so as a good understanding can be came to and then we will know what to look for in a puschase. As long as they are not trying to sell one or the other just help us with facts.
