WE NOTICED that the Korean Dark Craw site has published some Nvidia roadmap details that fell out of an MSI executives pocket at a press conference.
That roadmap shows that NV36 will be called the Geforce FX 5700. Unless Nvidia changes its mind, as it is wont to do whenever important info gets leaked on the web.
The frequency is quite aggressive for mainstream part at it will be set at 500/1000 MHz - not so lucky number combination that the NV 30 used. The card will be equipped with 128MB of memory even though its not specified whether it will use DDR 1 or 2. We would suggest its likely to be DDR 2.
