I have 5 cd  images for a Suse Linux installation.

I would like to burn them to one dvd and boot annd install from it.

How can I go about doing this and will Nero be able to do it all ??

Any help here appreciated

Hi there italiano,

I haven't got Suse Linux, but I have Mandrake Linux 9.1 CD 1~3.

I also would be very interesting in this "project".

In my Mandrake CDs:

CD1: Mandrake\RPMS plus other files
CD2: only Mandrake\RPMS2
CD3: only Mandrake\RPMS3

I don't have a DVD-Burner, so before I am saying this, please bare in mind that I haven't done this before.

If I had a DVD burner and if I want to experiment, this is what I would do:

1. Get an image (ISO) of the CD1 from UltraISO
2. Copy Mandrake\RPMS2 (CD2) to the hard disk
3. Copy Mandrake\RPMS3 (CD3) to the hard disk
4. Open CD1 image and add the RPMS2 and RPMS3 folders to Mandrake folder in the image.
5. Save the ISO (only once!)
6. Exit UltraISO
7. Burn the ISO using the Nero Burning ROM.

Hopefully the folder structure should be something similar in Suse Linux CDs, and hopefully it should work. Good Luck on your task. Very interesting!
