Ie 6.0 Error. Any Suggestions?

I constantly get an error

"IE cannot open internet site www.xxxx.com. Operation aborted"

(on XP Pro - my actual home page is not indicated here, xxxx - only used as an example).

I cannot uninstall IE in my Add/Remove Programs, it is not present.
Went thru MSFT database, no help.
Any ideas?

Hey felixml,

There is a way to re-install IE6... There is an inf file that kicks off the process, but I cannot remember which one it was, being I did this a while back and haven't kept the documentation on it... I did receive this help via BetaONE, so I am positive someone has the answer out there for you.
