The version number on both packages is 9.00.00.2980, and the files in the packages are the same. Looks like it's just build 2980, not 3008.

.3008 is just the patch that should be within Windows Update that plugs a security flaw within the player... That is how I was able to update it from .2980 to .3008.

Sorry DoG and if you are under a download cap I am very sorry.

However I also downloaded the new update and installed it. The version number said 9.00.00.3008. I think it is probably because of an automatic update. I am going to edit the topic title anyway. Sorry again for any inconvinience caused by me.
