yesterday I was just able to boot in safe mode

I plug my mic in the sound card and the computer freeze

I restart it but It boot only in safe mode, all the IRQ where fuck'in >:|

I reinstall XP and that don't solve the problem, I have to fix this harware trouble by removing my cards and reinstalling them one by one and check all the IRQ settings

After that,

I have to reinstall a large part of software ?

What's happend ? A bad ground in the sound card ?

I really don't know

Did you use your mic to input some "not-so-nice-and-kind-word's" perhaps

Tough luck, can't understand how this could happen

Enter your BIOS,
look for a setting called "PNP OS installed" ( or something like that )
Select NO / Disabled ( sound's strange, I know... )
Sometimes the BIOS is not 100% compatible with PNP in WinXYZ, and it's better to let the BIOS
take full control of the PNP cards.

Hmm, this is turning into a HW thread
