Hi there Guys & Girls.

I want to reformat my hard drive and re-install XP. What I was thinking of doing was installing 2 copies of XP using Acronis OS Selector 8.0. I would then use the one copy as my main working area and use the other copy as a games/other stuff area. Are there any of you doing this at the moment? Pros and cons? Is Acronis OS Selector 8.0 any good or should I try something else?

Any help would really be appreciated.

Cheerz
Dave

Well, I'd at least try it.

Happy now?

Ok, just kidding!

I *have* heard good things about Acronis OS selector but have no need to try it. I *have* dumped Partition Magic in favor of Acronis Partition Expert and have been VERY happy!

As long as you're going to wipe your HD. Why not install it now and see how it behaves. (AFTER you back up all you need). ?
