Hi guys,

I know some of you think of me as a pain in the @ss, but I need to say this. Could you all please [b:7f9dd5d3f7]at all time[/b:7f9dd5d3f7] remember that the channel is public. By my knowledge anyone can connect to it, and beside that, everyone can view the conversations that take place in this channel on the B1 Homepage.

I know somekind of filter is installed so that rough language is filtered out so that problem is solved. But I really must urge you not to discuss member server addresses of other information over there that shouldn't be made public. I don't now much about IRC, but I'm sure there is some kind of whisper) function that allows you to communicate such information to eachother without immediatly making it public to the rest of the channel users / homepage viewers.

<User1> Mornin, Do you have bc's server address?
<User2> yes, I believe it is xxx.yyy.zzz
<User1> THANK YOU

Excuse me for saying this.

Cheers,
Cactus

lol, agree with you on that, even before i noticed you pm'ed me

But remembers its a public channel, we someone can't do much with out a username and pass to BC server.

Sware filters stop swaring, and replaces suck words like Nichotin with fudgepacker (i only wish).

But if people are going to just sit and watch what we talk about on the front page, [b:e664e883fe]You are welcome to join in, don't be shy[/b:e664e883fe].

Hi Applebelly,

True that a user/pass is still needed, but since BC is so strickt about it, I'm sure that he even doesn't want people to know the address.

As for inviting me, well I don't know skwat about mIRC, and the few times I tried to connect it refused the connection. I'm sure its my error but still... Oh yeah, I do am shy, and couldn't type as fast as you all, and sometimes even have trouble reading as fast as you type.
SoI'll stick to the B1 Homepage if I'm bored.

Sorry if I have offended anyone, that wasn't (or course) my intention. Just wan't to make this a good place to be.

Cheers,
Cactus

didn't offend me in anyway.

So what you can't type as fast, don't have to be on the ball all the time, don't have to understand what someone is saying to reply (i don't).

I will be willing any time to help you out with connecting to MIRC and the basic functions of it, it may seem complex, but once you understand it, its so easy.

I know what you mean with BC, and i agree, but don't think it has been raised yet, but the point is taken, and ii am trying to make people in the chanel aware of it.

Anyone is welcome to join us, might find it scary, ask someone, we are willing to help others, and you might end up enjoying yourself in their.

-Apple

Dont blame the IRC channel, this was 100% my fault.

This evening I had a hdd failure and I am still trying to get the info back. Unfortunatley THOSE details are on the failed drive and the software I needed was on BC's server. You see my problem?

Dont blame anyone other than me, but these were exceptional curcumstances.

Regards
Simon

Seem's like I[/color:408647c77c] should make my voice be heard....

If anyone[/color:408647c77c] needs to get their personal login info
after a HD crash, format, virus, whatever....

Why don't you just go the source[/color:408647c77c] ?

One reason for _me_ to don't like my adress all over, are all those sucker's
who will try to "harm" me, one way or another.

Some of you have been with us for so long time, that you know what/who I'm taling about.

BC out...
