Why should I buy I mac?

I am considering purchasing a new PC and some of my friends are pushing me to buy a Mac. My main concern is finding software to use for it. Is there a decent selection of titles (I use mostly business stuff) to use with a Mac? If this is the wrong place for this thread, I apologize. Thank you.

Office xp or whatever they are calling it on the mac is better than the pc version.
