How to burn or what to do with CUE/BIN files or ISO files. This should answer all.
Download NERO from /http://www.nero.com

1. Open Nero

2. The "New Compilation Box" pops up first. Click Cancel

3. On the Main screen, click " File "

4. In the pull down menu click " Burn Image... "

5. In the box that pops up navigate to the directory of the ISO you want to burn.

6. Make sure that at the bottom of the box you have the " File Type " set to " All Files[*.*] "

This will make sure that if you are burning a CUE/BIN, they show up.

7. Select the file you want to burn and click " Open " If you are burning a CUE/BIN file, select the CUE file.

8. Once you do this, A " Write CD " dialog box will popup. It should be already set to " Burn " tab. Just make sure that the " Write CD " and " Finalize CD " boxes are checked.

9. Click " Write " and your done Give yourself a good pat on the back

Additional info that may apply...

Under the " Foriegn Image Settings " tab in the " Write CD " dialog box, make sure the " Type of Image " is set to Data 1. Make sure " Block Size " is set to 2048. Everything else should be set to 0 and all boxes unchecked. NOTE: You should not have to do any of this, but this may apply.

Overburning

Open the dropdown "File" menu.

Go into preferences.

Click the "Expert Features" Tab.

"Enable Overburn"*Note* read the warning. I have used overburn a lot without a problem, I've burned files as big as 820mb. But some burners don't support it. Mine says it doesn't but it works fine. Use at your own risk.

Now, when you go to burn a file, use the steps fireworks posted above, but at the "Write CD" box, select "Disc at Once" in the "Write Method" box instead of "Track at Once".

That's it.

Modifying .cue's

If you get an error when trying to burn a .cue (two popup error windows will appear), open the .cue with notepad. Here's an example:

FILE "PROJ2K2P.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

Now, first off make sure that this part "PROJ2K2P.BIN" is the exact same as the name of the .bin, not case sensitve.

Next, check to see if the first line contains a directory in the target, like this:

FILE "X:\PROJ2K2P.BIN" BINARY

X being C, D etc. If it does, delete the X:\ part.

it has helped me out quite a few times. If the .cue still won't work after you have checked both of those things then it is incorrect. You can use ISO buster on the .bin, and make a new ISO with winISO or go look for the .cue, or you can make a .cue. Open another cue with notepad and copy the format, just change the target. Make it with notepad, then rename the extension to .cue. Works fine. (svcd's or vcd's are a little different as they usually contain more than one track).
