Hi all, the problem I have is that I need to disable the automatic ALC on the microphone input or or line in.
I'm trying to decode some signals with the soundcard but as soon as the sound comes in the alc kicks in and messes up the decoder. I cant find any driver specific controls , the rig is a Compaq Presario Laptop with a Conexant Audio system , I have also come across this problem with my main PC but it only happens with the line in , the mic line is ok.
Any help or tip where to look in the registry would be appreciated.
