THE I875P chipset from Intel, formerly known as Canterwood, will be introduced in the week beginning the 14th of April, while Springdale chipsets and boards will be launched four weeks later.
That is the schedule for the introductions according to partners close to Intel plans, and indicate that that's the time period when all Intel's desktop CPUs will start to support hyperthreading.

As we revealed late last year, Intel intends to make quite a song and dance about hyperthreading and will extend the technology across its entire range, probably as early as the third quarter of this year.

For quite a while however, the roadmap will be bifurcated as Intel replaces 533MHz Pentium 4s without HT with 800MHz FSB Pentium 4s with HT.

with that, it will end the era of the 533 fsb reign and start another empire with 800 fsb w HT.

nw with that gg, the prices for the mobo for 533 is either to drop or climb drastically....
