THE ARRIVAL OF so-called "Centrino" technology from Intel this quarter will see its adoption in notebooks from big original design manufacturers (ODMs) Acer and Asus.
And Intel will plunge $60 million into promoting the "Centrino" bundle ? set to displace existing Pentium 4 notebook technology.

The big push ? according to the Economic News -- comes on the 12th of March, although Asus and Acer will produce models based on the new notebook chips, chipsets and with wireless kits ? at the end of February.
