THE INQUIRER HAS listened to yesterday's internal support voice mail message and things are still far from fixed on its intranet.
The message says that HP, like companies round the world, has been attacked by the "aggressive" SQL Slammer worm, that started late last Friday.
In HP's case, the systems have been "impacted" and it is working "expeditiously" to fix the problems.
It is also working with customers to provide "any necessary support".
All of its information security team has been working on the problem since last Friday.
Hard to believe? We're afraid it's true.
