The anonymous donor who offered two prizes of $100,000 to port Linux onto the Xbox has revealed his identity.
And he is Michael Robertson, the founder of the Lindows operating system, report the founders of the project.

As many of you might have heard:

MICROSOFT HAS FLEXED its legal muscle and sent the project to crack the encryption keys that protect X Box games from copying scuttling for cover, it seems. A message on the Neo Project website here, reads:
"Due to legal reasons, we will no longer be hosting or participating in the x Box challenge." A further message from spikey team member Mick Curry reads: "We will not be answering questions or commenting anymore on this subject."
