hiya all

i'd like to serve a couple of movies, but before that i want to know what's the best way to serve them- would chopping them up in rar files decrease the quality of the movie (divX)?

or is it better to split the files using some avi chopper without zipping or rar-ing them?

i have 128k upload so there won't be much bandwith to share

thanks!!

WinRar will not degrade the video quality.

In my humble opinion I molud not use a AVI chopper program to split the movies.
This would force the person downloading to have that program also.

It would be better to rar the movies into 15 MB chuncks. That way it better for the 56K'ers.

Also have resume on in your FTP of choice.
