Stringent is an unknown quantity at this point
One of my IBM (yes IBM groan) drives has got a heck load of bad sectors on it. The DFT thing crashes whil trying to repair them. There is some data on there that I really would like to get back. What utilities are there that can do this?

Have tried Acronis Recovery (only does deleted partitions)
Recover NT (didn't want to work)
Ontrack Easy Recovery scanned the disk, but didn't ask me which files I wanted?

So any help appreciated!

BTW if/when I get the data back I'm getting a replacement!
