darklord is an unknown quantity at this point
hi there just brought a laptop but iwant to connect it to my pc and upload files to it via lan on both systems

what is the best solution
remember that i have no ideas on setting up a network

what hardware is best for me and software if need


oh yead operating sys winxp on both

I used Intel's AnyPoint Wireless network adapters. They were really cheap and easy to install, plus if you don't want to set up a router or access point, these adapters work as peer to peer. I got a USB adapter for my pc and a pcmcia adapter for my laptop.
