The McAfee VirusScan SuperDAT utility lets you upgrade your entire scanning engine and your DAT files at the same time. You can detect and remove all types of known viruses from e-mail attachments, Internet downloads, shared disks, CD-ROMs, and synchronization with your PDA. This also detects destructive ActiveX and Java applets, which are often downloaded without your knowledge while you browse.

you know i got this doubt with McAfee:

here is the Q
say i have got the version 4230 right. cpla months later i download the latest DAT version (say 4275). my question is, are those virus definitions between 4230 and 4275 are installed on my virus scanner, or am i lacking virus definitions?
