Typical uses for PowerRenamer
Automatically find and rename downloaded MP3 files, with Artist, Track and Album information formatted the way you want it.
Quickly and easily replace those meaningless photo names created by your digital camera
Add sequential numbers to music and image files to create properly ordered slideshows and playlists
Change or add file extensions for downloaded files so they open with the correct software on your system
Add ID3 information to your MP3's so that players such as Windows® MediaPlayer can catalog them correctly
Remove extraneous characters such as underscores or brackets from file names, or replace spaces in your webpages so there's no more %20 in your URL's.
Remove the read-only attribute on files copied from CD and DVD ROM drives.
If you're using Windows® 2000 or XP and have chosen the NTFS® file system, you can easily mark files with the archive attribute for backup software, add encryption to your files, or compress your files so they use less space on your system
